Born in 1989 in Belgrade, Serbia, Marija Momić lives and works as an independent photographer and cinematographer in her hometown. After graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at Belgrade University, Miss Momić also completed the Master's degree studies. Given that photography has been in Marija's focus ever since childhood, she came to be mostly interested in personal topics, portraiture, and social and environmental issues of a modern man.
There has always been a desire within me to take photos. We can all relate to the need of capturing a moment, comparing, and connecting it to the world around us. The actual nature of photography along with its influence is still a mystery to me. It engages all my senses and connects me with the human nature we are not always aware of.
